Terms of Service

The service

Suchness is a marketplace where practitioners, hosts, and guides ("creators") list sessions, experiences, courses, memberships, and communities, and where participants discover and book them. Creators are independent — they are not employed by or agents of Suchness.

Your account

You need an account to book or list offerings. Keep your sign-in methods (email, phone) secure — you’re responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

Bookings and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you book, you agree to the price, and the refund policy the creator states at checkout. Suchness charges creators a platform fee depending on their plan; participants pay what’s shown at checkout — no hidden fees.

Refunds and cancellations

Each offering states its refund policy at checkout, set by the creator. If something goes wrong — a cancelled retreat, a dispute, a serious problem — contact us and a person on our team will help mediate and, where fair, refund.

Creator terms

Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, holding the qualifications they claim, complying with laws that apply to their practice (including any licenses or insurance), and honoring the bookings they accept. Payouts run weekly for cleared earnings. If you leave, your client list, content, bookings history, and forms are exportable — they’re yours.

Content

You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant Suchness a limited license to host and display your content so the platform can function. Don’t publish content you don’t have rights to.

What’s not welcome

We remove content and accounts that cross clear lines:

• Medical claims that promise cures, or advice presented as a substitute for professional medical care.
• Harassment, hate, or exploitation of vulnerable participants.
• Misrepresenting qualifications, lineage, or experience.
• Spam, pyramid-shaped recruiting, or off-platform payment circumvention.

Wellness disclaimer

Offerings on Suchness are not medical care. Nothing on the platform is a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice. Participate within your own limits and consult a professional where appropriate.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suchness provides the platform "as is" and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of creators or participants. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — when we do, we’ll name the line that was crossed. Sections that by their nature survive (liability, content licenses for completed transactions) survive termination.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. For material changes we’ll give notice before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
